“Today’s Walk Radio” will change to “Valley Baptist Church Radio” on July 13, 2026

“Today’s Walk Radio” will change it’s name and program length starting Monday, July 13. The new program will be titled “Valley Baptist Church Radio” and the new run time will be 28:30. Please see the note below from the ministry:

Thank you for continuing to be a part of the Radio broadcasting team with Valley Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California!

The Today's Walk Radio program has provided millions of listeners with a consistent source of Bible-based preaching for over 30 years! With the passing of Dr. Roger Spradlin in 2022, we have continued to re-air Today's Walk Radio programs. Now, we will continue to air the sermons of Dr. Roger Spradlin, as well as our current pastors in a new radio format simply called, "Valley Baptist Church Radio".

We currently air that program on several local radio stations and with the goal of consolidating programming, this program will directly replace the 5-day a week Today's Walk Radio" show. Other than the name/format change, the biggest difference is that the new program is 28:30 in length (previously 25:00).

Please note that the program code will change from VBCH_TWR5 to VBCH_VBC5 starting July 13, 2026
