AMR-100/200 Firmware Updated 6/30/2025
We’ve sent new firmware to connected AMR-100 (v2.75) & AMR-200 (v17.59) receivers. AMR-200 code was pushed previously and the AMR-100 update was sent today, Monday, 6/30/2025, at approx. 1014 Eastern. The new code implements enhanced strategies when operating in the upcoming Internet-only (SvI) environment. AMR-100 receivers should automatically re-boot after confirming the firmware update and then resume their normal activity. If your AMR-100 is playing audio at the time the firmware arrives, the flash process will be inhibited until the next minute after the receiver stops audio play-out. AMR-200 units apply the new firmware without a reboot.
As a reminder, we’ll be transitioning to SvI-only transmission and shuttering our long-standing C-Band satellite feed on 7/31/2025. If your AMR hasn’t yet been re-provisioned to SvI-only mode but is already communicating with our terrestrial servers (nearly all are) it will automatically revert to SvI when the satellite carrier sunsets. In preparation for next month’s transition, now might be a good time to download our transmission details document and review your local firewall configuration with your technical and/or IT departments.
